Filipino-American History Month in the SouthBay, Los Angeles Area

The Filipino-American History Month Celebration at the SouthBay Pavilion Mall is a fun family event featuring activities, entertainment, and business showcases that aims to commemorate the achievements, contributions, and the historical presence of Filipinos in Continental United States since October 1587.

Founded by the FilAmChamber - SouthBay LA Area (FACC-SLAA), the Filipino-American History Month event in the SouthBay, LA Area has been an annual event since 2011. It has attracted a plethora of performers, government officials, tv personalities, and celebrities. 

This event has made history in the City of Carson, and it has united the Filipino community in the SouthBay, LA area and beyond together to celebrate as the traditional is infused with the culture of the new generation. It has also been a platform for the recognition of Larry Itliong’s historical leadership in initiating the Delano Grape Strike.

The Filipino-American History Month Celebration at SouthBay Pavilion is presented by the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce - SouthBay Los Angeles Area (Facc Slaa) , with the support of the City of Carson, California and the SouthBay Pavilion, along with Maxx Promos as Production Consultant.
