A multitude of stars travelled the seas to put on dazzling performances in New Jersey and California.

One Kapamilya Go 2013 Excites Fans Across the United States

Already viewed as one of the "can't miss" events of the season, One Kapamilya Go 2013 decided to take a risk -- they added an East Coast leg to their tour.  Thousands of fans made their way to Newark, NJ's Prudential Center and Santa Clara's California's Great America on October 18th and 20th where the biggest and brightest TFC stars aligned for a spectacular event.

Show organizers orchestrated a cast of TFC favorites for this tour which included The Voice of the Philippines' stars Lea Salonga, Bamboo, champion Mitoy Yonting, runner-up Klarisse De Guzman and finalists Janice Javier and Myk Perez; Be Careful With My Heart favorites Richard YapJodi Sta. MariaTart Carlos and Viveika Ravanes; and from ASAP 18, Yeng ConstantinoGerald AndersonMaja SalvadorSam Milby and Cristine Reyes

ABS-CBN Global Head of Theatricals John-D Lazatin directed hoplessly romantic duets, impresive choreographed dances, and powerful musical performances, while integrating the use of vibrant videos and a beautiful array of lights.  Audiences felt the entire spectrum of emotions during the event, all the way from nostalgia from Yeng Constantino's medly of Air Supply, national pride from Bamboo's solo of Noy-Pi, a "kilig" factor from Richard and Jodi's duet, complete awe for the pride of the Philippines Lea Salonga, and a sentimental journey back to the Philippines as the cast reunited for the finale singing a medley of traditional Filipino Christmas songs.

One Kapamilya Go Project Head Ricky Resurreccion said, “This had been the most challenging year for One Kapamilya Go, but it was also the most rewarding.  This one took a whole village – executive management, the sterling cast and crew from Manila and North America, the East and West Coast Filipino communities, Office of the Mayor of Newark and the Philippine Consulates General, Filipino organizations and media, Philippine- and U.S. based businesses that sponsored the event and our venue partners. As Lea aptly said, everyone realized that ‘kapamilya’ is more than a tagline; it is a real connection, a solid affinity, a meaningful relation.  And that’s why everybody gave their best. To us, that’s what really matters.”

The producers' hard work did not go unnoticed.  The fans have spoken on social media and they claimed, "it was totally worth it! Here's to a repeat!"
