The Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture (FPAC) is pleased to announce that comedian Rex Navarrete will return to headline the iconic and popular event, celebrating its 22nd anniversary on September 7 & 8, 2013 at Point Fermin Park, San Pedro. FPAC is the largest and longest-running community tradition in Southern California, presenting over 500 artists and cultural bearers from across the nation every year.
“It’s been a real pleasure for me to be part of this amazing Fil-Am festival for over ten years now,” said an excited Navarrete. “I don’t see any other festival celebrating as much of our own diversity within these two days of the year.”
With numerous video and album releases, television and film appearances, and countless performances that have entertained two generations throughout the world, Navarrete remains one of the most popular attractions at FPAC, bringing his signature brand of Filipino American comedy that annually greets 25,000 visitors eager to enjoy a weekend-long celebration of Philippine arts and culture.
